Good Trouble Trumbull Hosts First Community Social at Warren Courthouse Square

Good Trouble Trumbull Hosts First Community Social at Warren Courthouse Square

WARREN, Ohio — Good Trouble Trumbull invites members, supporters, and all others interested in civic engagement across the Mahoning Valley to its first-ever Community Social on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Courthouse Square, 161 High Street, Warren, Ohio.

The gathering is an opportunity for people from the Valley to connect, build relationships, and strengthen the bonds that have grown through months of civic engagement and peaceful public demonstrations. The social is intended to foster fellowship, learning, and mutual support among neighbors who care about civic participation and the future of the region.

The free public event is open to everyone—whether you have attended previous rallies or are meeting Good Trouble Trumbull for the first time.

Attendees are invited to share conversation and fun.  All are encouraged to bring snacks, games, non-perishable food donations for the community food drive benefiting the Second Harvest Food Bank, although bringing an item is entirely optional.

Organizers are holding the event at a time when many community members are concerned about the direction of the country, including what they view as threats to constitutional rights, democratic institutions, and long-standing American values.

No Kings, No Cake! Warren, Ohio Rally June 14

On Sunday June 14, while birthday celebrations take place elsewhere, we will gather to affirm that in America no leader is above the law and no officeholder is entitled to a crown.

No Kings, No Cake! Warren, Ohio Rally June 14, 2026
1pm - 3pm
Courthouse Square
161 High Street NW, Warren Ohio 44481

Join us on June 14 for a peaceful Un-Birthday Rally in defense of democracy, constitutional government, and equal justice under the law.

While some may be planning a birthday party, we're showing up for democracy instead and gathering to affirm a simple principle: in America, no one is above the law, and no leader should wield unchecked power. Inspired by the No Kings philosophy, this rally calls for accountability, respect for democratic institutions, and protection of civil and human rights.

Also can share at FB: https://www.facebook.com/events/2535364520250134?active_tab=about

Participants will raise concerns about policies and actions they view as unjust, cruel, or harmful to vulnerable communities, and will advocate for government that is transparent, lawful, and responsive to the people.

While others count candles, we're counting on the Constitution.

A birthday is fine. Acting like a king isn't.

No Kings, No Cake, No Coronation.

This is a nonviolent, peaceful demonstration welcoming all who believe in democratic values, civic engagement, and the principle that public officials are servants of the people—not rulers over them.

No Kings. No Tyrants. Democracy for All.

*  The core principle behind all No Kings-spirited events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.  *
