Join us as we provide mutual aid and care to our neighbors by donating to our community food drive.
You can do a drive-by downtown Warren at the courthouse
square between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 pm on Sunday, November 16th and
drop off non-perishable food donations at the “No Parking” area in the middle
of the Square that drivers can pull up to. Good Trouble Trumbull volunteers
will collect your donations from your vehicle. Please have the donations handy
in the trunk or seat and a volunteer will get them and add to the collection.
We will try to be as quick as possible to avoid blocking traffic.
Stay for the rally to demonstrate against the Policy of Hunger being
waged by the Trump Administration and his Republican lapdogs. Bring your
signs supporting the full funding of SNAP benefits and protesting against
hunger as a political weapon. Frogs, unicorns and other critters are welcome -
we'll have a good time like we always do. As usual, dress for the weather, it
will be cool and possibly rainy.
We will also accept donations of unopened bags and cans of pet food.
These will go to TNR of Warren for further distribution and use. Please keep
these separate from the other donations. It will save our volunteers time.
The food drive benefits Second Harvest Food Bank who supplies food to
over 60 local food pantries and kitchens in the Mahoning Valley. We are
collecting UNEXPIRED canned goods, pasta, tuna, rice, beans, canned fruits and
vegetables, cooking oil, powdered milk, peanut butter, etc.
If you wish to make a funding donation, please go to the Second Harvest Food
Bank of Mahoning Valley website for a link for monetary donations. Or scan
the QR Code on the attached flier. We are not set up to handle cash or cards.
